Bruno
It had to be a hound. Preferably a tri-color hound. This was the dog to be a companion and to take walks with my husband. I persuaded Hal to visit the Humane Society because they had a beagle. The beagle was on a home visit with his new family. And there was Buster, young, eager, beautiful and BIG! We fell in love and took him home to see what our elderly cat would think. Fourteen months later the cat still rules. A radio fence allows the renamed Bruno full roaming access to our property. This month we have had our eleven year old twin grandsons with us. We have trained Bruno to leave his area to swim, which was no easy feat. He loves the water and his boys. He's a great dog. Nancy Harpfer.
